Creator of the critically acclaimed and award winning Fox Sports/ Inside Sportfishing television series, Michael Fowlkes has been the show’s executive producer, writer and director since its inception in 1989. To date, the series has earned an unprecedented 25 Telly Awards for broadcast excellence, and is the highest-rated, longest-running fishing show in Fox Sports history.
Fowlkes also earned three National ACE Awards for his productions with Showtime, Paramount Pictures and the Walt Disney Company.
Today he lives with his wife Kimberly and their third golden retriever Shammie on a secluded, wooded hillside in Laguna Beach. They spend as much time as they can on board the Vintage at Catalina Island.
