The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage credits Carol with changing the book business as the first author to have her ebooks carried in brick and mortar major bookstore chains.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of WORDSMITH and the President of Gold Coast Fiction Writers. She lives on the beach in California, where she indulges in gourmet vegan cooking for her children and spends her leisure time on the shutter side of the camera photographing the planet and donating her work to environmental organizations.
