Terri O'Hanlon
Author of O'REILLY'S POT OF GOLD

Terri O'Hanlon has a Masters Degree in Education, but finds that applying child psychology on her coworkers in the business world more applicable than on children in the classroom. An unexpected year-long break from the proverbial rat race came in the unlikely guise of a shoulder injury two years ago that offered the chance for her to forge into a new arena. Having written short stories and poetry for as long as she can remember, the realm of the full-length novel was a logical next step. A year later, six novels were completed . Since then, she has completed a seventh novel and a children's play, and is having the time of her life working her flying fingers to the bone.
This story about O'Reilly and his precious brass pot full of gold coins was the second story, written at novella length and just for fun. It is a compilation of very early short stories and visual images of a leprechaun. In this story, O'Reilly comes to life, Irish brogue and all. Having studied Ireland, the Irish culture and the Gaelic language, Terri's heritage comes into full sway in the story about Patrick O'Rourke and his day with O'Reilly.
A love of travel has allowed Terri to visit cities all over the United States, which comes in very handy when describing a location for a story. O'Reilly was written with a meadow at Yosemite National Park in mind.
Terri lives in Southern California with her two feathered children and a few dozen wild birds that visit her seed feeder daily. She dabbles in water color painting and singing and has written several songs. She is a Certified Professional Ski Instructor of America and revels in showing off in deep, cold powder snow.
